The production department propels WBMB’s audio image. Our station is equipped with an in-house project studio and a team of carefully selected and highly-trained producers who create and brand commercials, PSA’s, artist drops, show intros and programmed segments.

The Music Department handles all genres of music from smooth R and B grooves, cool Indie rock, Caribbean and latin heat to true school Hip-Hop. WBMB’s music department has a large selection of music in each genre, which is reflected in our diverse programming. We pride ourselves on not only playing the music you know and love, but breaking the hottest and most innovative new artists to come on the scene. The music department plays an integral part in our station’s sound, recommending new music to put into rotation and reporting to the main college charting magazines to ensure continued servicing from a multitude of record labels.If you’re a student who has a keen ear for talent and a desire to make invaluable connections in the music industry, feel free to stop by and apply for a music assistant position at our station.
